stone #5

Walking against the wind, my carrier bags are sails in the breeze, my body a creaking vessel.  I am momentarily stalled, still in the storm.  There is a quick look of complicity from a passerby, a recognition that we are in it together.

It's so rare to receive a sign of complicity from a total stranger. That in itself makes this stone special.
